Prayer When Unable to Attend Mass
Guardian Angel go to church for me today.
Kneel in the pew I used to occupy.
There offer the Holy Mass in my stead.
At the Offertory present me to God.
All that I have and all that I am
Give them to God as a gift.
At the consecration adore with
All your heart Our Savior Jesus Christ,
Who is truly present on the altar.
Pray for those who love me
And those who deceive me.
Remember my departed loved ones.
May the Blood of Jesus wash them clean.
When You receive the Bread of heaven,
Give me the Body and Blood of Jesus,
United with Him spiritually.
May my heart be His temple.
Implore that everybody will share
In the fruits of this Mass.
And when the Mass is over,
Carry the blessing to me where I am. Amen
