About the St. Rita Youth Group
Our Beginnings: The Saint Rita Youth Group started in 2019 when a group of dedicated volunteers responded to Bishop Gregory Parkes’ goal for 100% of parishes to establish and/or enhance youth ministry opportunities by July 1, 2020.
Our Mission: Young people will grow in their spiritual life through a personal encounter with Christ, discover and develop their sense of belonging to the Church and increase their gifts and talents by serving the community.
What We Do: The Saint Rita Youth Group is open to teens in grades 8-12. We meet on Sunday afternoons once or twice a month in the Parish Hall. A typical meeting consists of socialization, Christian music, prayers, games, activities and FOOD! In between meetings we schedule events for our members to do community service, have fun, and grow in spirituality. Click on the Upcoming Events button to see what fun activities are planned in the near future!
